Art in Fiber 2013 opening

Saturday was the opening of the "Art in Fiber 2013" at the Copper Shade Tree Gallery in Round Top, Texas.  It was wonderful to see "Tuning Fork #10" hanging in such a beautiful space with the work of so many other Texas fiber artists.  And I thoroughly enjoyed mingling with the crowds, both fellow artists and customers.

Debbie and Gerald Tobola have a lovely gallery and are great supporters of fiber art.  They were fabulous hosts.  And Julie Mafei and Angela Allen treated us to a brunch at the historic Menke House at Festival Hill on Sunday.

Artists at the brunch.  Gerald and Debbie Tobola are on the stairs.
Julie Mafei is  in the front row, far right.
I was lucky to be invited to stay at The Bootstrap B & B with a group of artists.  I got to spend some time with several old friends, and even made some new ones.

The Art in Fiber 2013 will be at the Copper Shade Tree through March 3.  Go see it!
