April Showers and Fort Worth’s Main Street Arts Festival

The weather in North Texas in April is often iffy.  It can it can be very hot.  It can be very cold.  It can be drizzly.  Or it can be stormy.  Like our weather on Saturday, the third day of the Main Street Arts Festival.  Brian and I had planned to spend the day shopping for a new display cabinet, but severe thunderstorms, including torrential rain and pea sized hail, ripped through Fort Worth on Saturday and the festival was closed down.
Luckily, On Sunday, the world was clean and fresh.  It was cool, clear and delightful.  We made up for lost time.

We found a lovely lighted cabinet to display Brian's growing collection of minerals and crystals.
Yes, our floors are a bit sloped.   Part of the charm of this old house we live in.

The minerals look great.  This is only a small part of his collection:
We also bought the piece of glass you can see on top of the cabinet during the show.  It was a lovely day!
