New Work and a Visitor

We had a visitor over the Memorial Day weekend.  A red-bellied woodpecker (at least, I think it was a red-bellied woodpecker) and her baby spent most of Monday sitting on top of the telephone pole at the end of our driveway.  She seemed to be cracking seeds and feeding them to her offspring.

Today, I finished Big Figure #7.  Finally.  I pieced this pretty quickly, but since I loaded it on the Gammill I have been in a funk.  I haven't felt like working at all.  Today, I forced myself to go up and quilt it.

Big Figure #7, 46" x 33"
I like it, really I do.  I think it is graphically interesting, and I'm still in love the Caribbean palette.  So hopefully, now that it is done, I'll feel the urge to create something else.  Fingers crossed.
