New Work (unfinished)

Last week I started to sew again.  In part (or perhaps because) I attended the Trinity Valley Quilt Guild annual retreat at Tanglewood Hotel and Spa in Pottsboro, Texas.  Three full days of good fun, good fellowship and I think some good sewing.

The first piece is a log cabin.

This second piece was inspired by the fabrics.  I had dyed an 8-step gradation from chartreuse to red violet and I decided to use the fabrics in a piece that highlighted the gradation.

I also started another Tuning Fork quilt.  No pictures yet.

Love both your pieces, especially the second one. You do have a way with red!
