Years ago, I attended a really wonderful fiber art show. Not a quilt show, a fiber show, showcasing a great many fiber techniques. Weaving, knitting, collage, sculpture...the forms were varied and exciting. I was just getting serious about being an artist, and felt I was not ready to enter a show like the FASA show, but I was determined that I would work hard, develop and enter it one day.
Well, the day has come. I entered two pieces in the FASA show and they were both accepted. And not only did I enter, but I won a prize. Third place for Subdivisions #12. Wonderful!
