Making Christmas Presents

I spent yesterday happily making pillowcases, which I plan to give as Christmas presents this year.  Several pairs are Christmas themed, several are college or professional football team themed, one set is made of some interesting fabric I bought at Houston International Quilt Festival this year.  I made seven pairs of pillowcases total.
I love to make pillowcases.  Brian and I use themed pillowcases for every holiday of the year.  And people always seem very excited to receive them.  So all in all, Friday was a fun and productive day.

Today I'll face the crowds at the post office as I send them on their way.  That part won't be quite so fun!

I made and mailed 42 travel size pillow cases this year to all my great nieces and nephews. I enjoy putting colors together for kids that I might not choose for myself.

Make the post office easy by printing your own labels and having the post office pick them up. I have been doing this for years. I don't have a fancy scale I just way I am using the bathroom scale. Ha!
