The annual Berkeley Place neighborhood parade started in front of our house this morning as planned, despite the 1 1/2 inches of rain we had this morning. Luckily there was a break in the clouds.
The parade was led by the Fort Worth Police Department and by Fire Truck #8 from the Fort Worth Fire Department. And featured children on bicycles, kids with wagons and quite a few marchers.
As always, we had decorated our house. If it starts to rain again, we'll have to run out and gather up all of the flags.
