SAQA Trunk Show Piece

Quartz, Hematite, Siderite and Riebeckite (QHSR) #3
Yesterday I finished my piece for the SAQA trunk show, a piece based on a thin section of Banded Iron Formation.

SAQA's trunk shows are designed to “promote the art quilt through education, exhibitions, professional development, documentation, and publications."  Every three years, members are asked to submit a small (7"w x 10"h) quilt.  It's an amazingly diverse collection of art!

The new trunk show will premiere next April at the SAQA conference in Lincoln, Nebraska.  After that, it will travel all over the world.

I'm proud to have QHSR #3 along for the ride!

Very nice! Bring it Monday! And don't let me forget, I have your studio Q from last time when you weren't there.
