Our Memorial Day weekend was pretty low key this year. We spent Saturday at the Fort Worth mineral show. I bought a ruby.
OK, it's not gem quality, but it is a beautifully formed and good sized crystal. It's a beautiful red-pink and I love it. We also bought a few other specimens. And I'm not sure, but I think B bought me a really cool trilobite. I have several gift occasions coming up....
Sunday was drizzly, and I spent it working on a few things for my solo show. It's getting really close.
Monday, Memorial Day, was beautiful. We spent the day outside. Mostly on the patio with a book and a cold beverage.
