I'm Speaking at the Austin Fiber Artists Meetings This Week!

If you are in the Austin area this week, you will have two opportunities to hear me speak.

The northern satellite of the AFA is meeting Tuesday, August 14th at the Baca Center, 301 W Bagdad Ave, Round Rock, TX  78664.  The meeting starts at 7 pm.

The southern satellite of the AFA is meeting on Wednesday, August 15th, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Hwy W290 Service Road, South Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX  78736.  The meeting starts at 6:45 pm

I will giving a slide show at both meetings called "Inspiration vs. Emulation: Finding Inspiration in Existing Works of Art."  

I'll be talking about ways to create original artwork inspired by the work of other artists.
